Our marketplace crosses the Atlantic: homeowners across Canada can now find vetted local pros — coast to coast, from Toronto to Vancouver.
NextDoor Pros is now live in Canada. After starting in Cameroon, we've opened our first market abroad — and we didn't do it halfway. All ten provinces and three territories are covered from day one, with roughly a hundred cities already on the map, from Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver to Halifax, Winnipeg, Regina, Whitehorse, and Iqaluit.
Nothing about our standard changes with the border. Every pro joining the Canadian network goes through the same screening as everyone else: identity verification, credential and reference checks where they apply, and a review of real past work. Prices and payments are handled in Canadian dollars, and you still reach pros the same safe way — through the platform, without ever trading personal phone numbers or emails.

And if you're a skilled pro anywhere in Canada, applications are open — joining now means being among the first names customers see as each city fills out.
